Statement of Purpose এর নমুনা-১ ( Organic Chemistry)

আবারো আগেই বলে রাখি, এই ফরমেট টা যে সবচেয়ে  ভালো তা আমি বলছি না।  ১২-১৩ টি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে  এই SOP দিয়ে এপ্লাই করেছি , পজিটিভ রেসপন্স পেয়েছি ৭-৮ টি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে।  অনেকের উপকারার্থে কিছুটা পরিবর্তন করে লেখাটি উপস্থাপন করলাম।


                                                    Statement of  Purpose
প্রথম প্যারা: সেই ছোট বেলা থেকে শুরু

I was always interested in science . From my Childhood , I  have dreamed to be an engineer as my father is an engineer. But I have found my real interest in Chemistry. I was always fascinated with chemistry related subjects. Still I can remember the colorful flame of elementary analysis of different metals in my high school  Chemistry Lab which made me more interested in chemistry. After completing my high  school  education , I strongly decided to set my goal . As a part of that , I applied to Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, for admission,  and I was admitted with a major in Chemistry. 
দ্বিতীয়  প্যারা: অনর্সা লাইফের  কোর্স, রিসার্চের সামান্য সূচনা 

My undergraduate period played very vital role to shape my career.  I strongly felt  that undergraduate education   helped make my chemistry foundation fairly strong in all areas of chemistry. In my senior year , Organo-Applied Chemistry lab influenced me to carry out research in Organic Chemistry. To further  my research Education,  I became interested in Master's degree in the Chemistry in United States of America. I am therefore, now pursuing  my  Masters degree in the department of chemistry at *** University with graduate assistantship. As a fresh graduate from different culture and  different country,  my present responsibility was little bit challenging for me . But as a quick learner, I successfully tackled the situation.  I am proud of being a member of Dr **'s Research group who is the chair of chemistry department, ** University, where I  learnt a lot about  Organic Chemistry Research . I get real flavor of Organic chemistry here. I have been working in two different projects in Dr **'s Lab and I also work in research group of  Dr ** who is  Professor of same department and University.     

তৃতীয় প্যারা: ব্রিফলি নিজের গুন ও রিসার্চ থাকলে বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা

My first   research  project  involves " প্রোজেক্টের নাম হবে এখানে " At beginning of research, I was challenged with running and analyzing different spectroscopic method such as HPLC,  NMR (1H, 19F & 13C),FTIR, LC-MS, GC-MS. However  I overcome all difficulties with time. As a result I was able to make significant  progress with my research over last two semesters. My synthetic work has recently been accepted for publication in the জার্নালের নাম হবে in October, 2014.. I presented my research at 36th Annual University-Wide Research Symposium, 2014 and at 66th Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society  (SERMACS), October, 2014 and submitted Abstract for 249th ACS National Meeting in Denver, Colorado, March, 2015. Presently I am working on Antibacterial Study of  my synthesized ড্রাগ বা তৈরিকৃত কম্পাউন্ডের নাম হবে in collaboration with  Dr. **, Department of Agriculture, ** ইউনিভার্সিটির নাম হবে

My Second  Project was on " আবার প্রোজেক্টের নাম হবে এখানে".I am still working on this project.

I also worked in research group of Dr **. The research involves "আবার আরেকটা  প্রোজেক্টের নাম হবে এখানে". Manuscript is  ready to submit in জার্নালের  নাম হবে এখানে   

শেষ প্যারা  : কেন এবং কোন প্রফেসরের কাছে কাজে আগ্রহী, নিজের কনফিডেন্স আর স্বপ্ন বাস্তবায়নের শপথ. 

I believe that I have earned appropriate research technique and  basic knowledge through  coursework during  my graduate study period at যে ইউনিভার্সিটিতে এখান পড়ছেন। which helps me to be more confident about goal of my future career. I am interested in Organic Synthesis. If I am asked more about my interest, I would like to name Bio-organic Synthesis. I am applying to Rice University  because it has always been  my dream to join an active research group at reputed  university where I can empower myself to fulfill dream. Rice University  has active research group in this field. My current research project is somewhat similar to synthesis work of  Dr. W. E. Billups . I also like Dr. Seiichi P.T. Matsuda, Dr. Ronald J. Parry 's research work equally .  I am always eager to learn. I would like to learn to improve my skills in problem solving. Ultimately I would like to learn to solve problem for humanity.
